The Dorset Eco-Friendly Flower Festival will be held this Sunday, August 17, at the Dorset Lavender Farm Project in Shillingstone. The one-day event celebrates locally grown flowers and sustainable floristry, with seasonal blooms, arrangements, and installations available to view and buy.
Visitors can enjoy live music, explore a craft and flower market, and take part in workshops and demonstrations throughout the day. Highlights include a dried flower wreath workshop with Eveline’s Flowers and an eco-friendly wedding flower talk by Sue Carter of Old Chapel Flowers.
The festival runs from 11 a.m., with activities spread across the barn, meadow, and festival marquees. Tickets are £10 and available online for those interested in attending, but take note that workshops should be booked in advance to secure spaces.
