The multi-year deal grants Tiderock Distribution Ltd. sole rights to market NextGen’s certified compostable bioplastic products across the EU, UK, and Ireland. This is noteworthy as the region’s $75-105 billion food packaging market is undergoing accelerated transformation due to stringent environmental regulations and shifting consumer preferences.

This strategic partnership combines NextGen’s innovative biopolymer technology — which is compliant with EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 standards for compostability and food safety — with Tiderock’s established distribution channels, which serve quick-service restaurants, food manufacturers, and logistics providers. The agreement includes defined annual sales targets along with commitments for collaborative product development and customer education initiatives to facilitate adoption of these petroleum-alternative materials.
