Hisense Dish Designer has been announced by the tech brand as an addition to its ConnectLife smart home platform that will provide users with a way to create custom meals at leisure. The new menu planning tool leverages the power of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and uses the ingredients already in the kitchen to come up with suggestions. This functionality is supported by the brand’s Hisense RS9P628GPFE American-Style Fridge Freezer, which will be searched by the system to determine fresh foods that are on hand.

Hisense Dish Designer was created through a collaboration with the Microsoft Azure AI Studio and uses AI Food Recognition. This will enable users to take photos of foods in the pantry or fridge for adding into their inventory.
