TikTok User Calls Out AMP For Skipping Tip At Topgolf

AMP is currently in San Antonio for their “30 Days of Streaming” challenge, where each member is committed to going live every day throughout July. The group has been staying at former NBA player Tony Parker’s mansion while creating content.

TikTok user @bianxjesalva posted the video on Saturday, which has garnered over 79,000 views. In the post, she identified herself as a former Topgolf employee and said a coworker told her the AMP group had left about an hour earlier without leaving a tip. According to the creator, the group occupied five to six bays, about a section and a half, yet left no tip for the servers.

“I don’t know how long they were here, but they should learn tipping culture,” she said in the video. “Especially for the amount of money I know they have.” In the caption, she added:

“Maybe they didn’t know??? But still, if I had their kind of money, I would be tipping AT LEAST $100 everywhere I go! BARE MINIMUM. If it’s great service, easy $1K tip. I don’t understand @DukeDennis @KaiCenat. It wasn’t even me and I’m baffled.”

Duke Dennis Responds To Tipping Accusations

After the video gained traction, AMP member Duke Dennis responded in the comment section. He left a brief message: “We didn’t know, we will fix it 😊.” The video’s creator responded directly to him, writing:

“Also I wanna say that the managers did not allow the server to talk to them… idk if that was a request made by whoever booked it for y’all or just TG management. In case the service wasn’t great.”

Social Media Reacts

The video sparked a flurry of responses online. Many TikTok users are weighing in on the situation and the broader tipping culture.

As a server, not getting tipped is frustrating regardless of if the guest looks rich or not because they go out of our way to give people great experiences just to pay there bills.”

Another TikTok user @n0ttjayda wrote, “Gonna go watch the stream to see if the service was even good then ima come back and comment”

While TikTok user @solo.blues wrote, “Nobody else would have got a video for not tipping at Topgolf”

TikTok user @leas5040 wrote, “Yall gotta realize they don’t handle their own reservations and stuff they have assistants for that”

While TikTok user @843.juron wrote, “Maybe the service wasn’t good enough for a tip do better”
