The ‘Airbnb Smurf Experience’ offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to celebrate the upcoming release of The Smurfs from Paramount Animation through a richly immersive event set in the heart of the Belgian woods—the birthplace of the cherished blue characters.

Scheduled for 3 August 2025, the four-hour Airbnb Experience takes place in a meticulously recreated Papa Smurf’s mushroom house, blending fantasy and authenticity in a setting inspired directly by the film. Guiding the experience will be Nicolas Tytgat, grandson of Smurfs creator Peyo, offering participants a personal bridge to the franchise’s heritage.

In Papa Smurf’s absence, guests will embark on a variety of themed activities drawn from the new film, such as “crafting personalized Smurf hats, engaging in woodland archery, and mastering a dance routine featured in the movie.” The Airbnb Smurf Experience is offered free of charge, with two sessions available, each accommodating up to four guests. Reservations open on 16 July 2025, and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis—promising a rare, storybook encounter where animation meets real-world wonder.
