The device was conceptualized by Semin Oh and features an aesthetic that could resemble a handheld gaming device to some, and has a supplemental screen on the top. This will let users quickly check the time, battery and for notifications without having to toggle the main display on, which could tempt them to check social media or the news.

The ‘Cheaum’ concept is meant for mobile use, but can also be positioned onto a desktop where it can be placed in a portrait or landscape orientation to function as a clock or timer.
