Synaesthesia-Inspired Spirits : jo vodka

There’s a natural parallel between notes in fragrance and those in alcohol spirits—both rely on layering, balance, and sensory storytelling—and Jo Malone CBE, known for her fragrance line, has entered the spirits category with her Jo Vodka brand. The British entrepreneur with synaesthesia is introducing Jo Vodka with three expressions: 101 The Purist, 102 The Bohemian, and 103 The Artist. Each vodka was created to be versatile enough to sip or savor in cocktails.

While the smooth, crisp profile of The Purist naturally works well in dirty martinis, The Bohemian takes cues from the beach with its notes of pomelo, yuzu, bay leaf and bergamot. Rounding out the trio, The Artist uses flavor instead of scent to recall the experience of growing up in London in the 1970s.
