The partnership between ODeX and Hapag-Lloyd deployed a comprehensive digital solution at three critical trade hubs — Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, and Hai Phong. It replaced outdated email-based processes with an integrated system for documentation and payments. The digital shipping platform introduced several transformative features including real-time tracking of shipping documents, digital invoice management, flexible payment processing, and secure delegation capabilities that eliminate paper-based authorization requirements. These innovations addressed persistent pain points in Vietnam’s export-import operations by reducing processing delays, minimizing communication gaps, and providing complete visibility across shipment workflows.
This digital transformation would interest various stakeholders, including Vietnamese importers and exporters, logistics providers, as well as small and medium enterprises.
