The technology works by detecting, forecasting and preventing food safety issues before they develop or occur by monitoring temperature in real-time. The system will then provide predictive alerts to help kitchen staff keep operations in compliance and also keep waste to a minimum. The technology is reported to reduce food waste related to temperature issues by 20% to 30%, while also eliminating the need for manual temperature checking, increasing food safety holding times by as much as 40-minutes and more.
