The $240,000 Maybach was seen getting hauled onto a tow truck, drawing considerable attention from hotel guests and passers-by. However, neither the hotel, his team, nor the towing company commented on the incident. This sparked an immediate reaction online, with many questioning whether the billionaire singer is facing financial struggle.

The towing incident occurred days after Ye appeared at Sean Diddy Combs’ court hearing in New York. Christian Combs, son of Diddy, was spotted at the same hotel following the Maybach episode. Although they were not spotted together, Combs’ presence suggests the families are closely linked. This towing incident also mirrors a previous incident earlier this year, when his 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera, which he had gifted to his wife, was towed in West Hollywood. Although the chatter surrounding financial issues resurfaces, his lavish spending continues.

This shows his preference to live a high-end lifestyle. 

It is no secret that Ye’s net worth collapsed after losing his Adidas Yeezy partnership in 2022. According to Forbes, it dropped from $1.8 billion to an estimated $400 million. Despite this massive dip, he shows no sign of stopping big purchases.
