Plant-Based Catering Guides : ProVeg International catering guide



The ProVeg International catering guide has been created by the food awareness organization as a tool for large-scale event organizers to use as a way to incorporate plant-based meals into the experience. The guide, entitled Future Plates, puts best practices, case studies and recipes in the spotlight, while also highlighting some of the benefits for consumers and the environment when it comes to plant-based fare. The guide is targeted towards caterers who are setting up events related to the United Nations or climate change conferences in response to the shift towards plant-based options in recent years.

Global CEO Jasmijn de Boo commented on the ProVeg International catering guide saying, “Many of us have gone home from a major event with memories to last a lifetime. But the catering can leave a lot to be desired, not just where taste is concerned but also in terms of its climate-friendliness. Our catering guide will make it easier for caterers to host a more sustainable event that also delivers on health and taste.”
