In a recent high-level meeting chaired by Cabinet Minister Dr. Pankaj Kumar Singh, the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) Board expressed its desire to deploy 100 Type-3 zero-emission electric buses for interstate travel. This effort will reflect a major milestone in Delhi’s push for cleaner transportation and aims to boost connectivity with neighbouring states and key pilgrimage destinations. The electric buses will conduct stops along 17 designated routes under this initiative.
“These electric interstate buses mark a significant step in our sustainable mobility agenda. They will not only enhance access to nearby states and pilgrimage hubs but also help reduce pollution levels in Delhi,” said Cabinet Minister Dr Pankaj Kumar Singh.
