The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) launched the 2025 Programme on Benchmarking and Announcing Sustainable Companies in Vietnam (CSI 2025) to promote responsible business practices and sustainable growth. The initiative, marked by its 10th anniversary, aims to benchmark 100 leading sustainable companies, including the top 10 in manufacturing and trade-services sectors. The programme is designed to assess and recognize corporate performance across environmental protection, social responsibility, and governance, thereby reinforcing a framework for sustainable development in line with national economic policies.

The CSI 2025 framework incorporates an updated set of evaluation criteria comprising 145 indicators across key categories such as governance, environmental performance, and labor and social responsibility. In addition, the programme introduces digital enhancements, including an upgraded online platform and AI-powered guidance, to streamline the application and reporting processes for participating enterprises. These measures are intended to facilitate transparency and objectivity in the evaluation process, while supporting the ongoing digital transformation of business practices within Vietnam.
