Chulalongkorn University has entered into a collaboration with Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd. to co-develop a Smart Campus and design a sustainable AI-driven academic curriculum. This joint initiative, highlighted at the Huawei Thailand Digital & AI Summit 2025 under the theme “Embrace AI, Ignite the Future,” aims to integrate advanced ICT infrastructure with academic programming. The project is structured to support Thailand’s broader digital transformation agenda by establishing a robust platform within higher education to facilitate the development and application of AI, cloud computing, big data, and related areas.

The collaboration emphasizes the development of a long-term, sustainable innovation ecosystem that will benefit both students and university personnel. By combining efforts in upgrading campus technological capabilities and co-designing academic programs, Chulalongkorn University and Huawei seek to align educational practices with the requirements of the evolving digital economy. This initiative is designed in accordance with national policies aimed at fostering digital literacy, innovation, and a competitive regional environment that positions Thailand as a digital and AI innovation hub.
