Founder of Sky View Tents, Joe Bissonnette, created the product from his own experience. The inventive designs create a clear view for stargazing but also feature a rainfly that comes inwards so that the experience is not compromised depending on the weather. The tents are made by hand in Buena Vista, Colorado, with the purpose of stargazing.

It is made from durable, clear mesh materials so that the view is unobstructed. It can be enjoyed while lying in bed. The website informs, “Sleeping in a Sky View Tent is like having the night sky at your fingertips.” The rainfly is integral as it can be deployed by users when they are inside the tent and don’t have to exit to alter the view.
