Italian designers Ludovica Serfini and Roberto Palomba work to create the Alu+ Shower System launched by Ideal Standard. It is rooted in sustainable design with 84% recycled aluminum and made to reduce water consumption without compromising performance. It is made up of integrated water-saving technology, which works to restrict the flow of water from eight liters per minute for the hand spray faucet and 12 liters for the overhead faucet.

Other features that make Alu+ stand out is that it is free of chrome, nickel, and lead — these are all materials that can create risk to water quality. The sustainable efforts continue to the packaging as well, using recyclable materials and straying away from single-use plastics.
