Spanish design imprint Kriskadecor has just installed a wall of unique materials at the Ginza 41 restaurant. The sushi location features a mural made up of tensioned aluminum chains that creates the visual of a traditional Japanese landscape. Spanish architect Àfrica Sabé designed the local restaurant in a way that “no one had ever seen before in Andorra.”
Sabé explains the design, “The idea to integrate aluminium chains into the facade arose from the imagery of traditional chain curtains – those that evoke the feel of an old family home. These chains awaken memories of holidays, delicious food, and tranquillity. We wanted to recreate those sensations while also connecting with the essence of Japan, offering a preview of the experience that awaits inside the restaurant.”
