The ESSENS™ Circular and PROXIS™ Circular lines incorporate innovative circular economy principles as they utilize ecycled and bio-based materials. The ESSENS™ collection repurposes discarded suitcases, with its outer shell containing at least 35% recycled luggage components and 80% recycled polymers, while the PROXIS™ line integrates bio-circular materials derived from used cooking oil. The latter design has achieved ISCC PLUS certification.
Both sustainable luggage collections maintain Samsonite’s reputation for durability. In order to increase transparency and trust with consumers, the brand also introduces Digital Product Passports for both capsules. This feature allows curious and eco-conscious buyers to verify material origins, environmental impact, and compliance standards.
