DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse has introduced a widespread in-store shoe protection service through a partnership with Imbox Protection. As a result of this strategic collaboration, the security-focused technology is now available in nearly 500 locations across the US.

The DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse x Imbox Protection initiative allows customers to apply a water-based, eco-friendly protective coating to their footwear in just 60 seconds at checkout. The coating will help guard against stains, water damage, and fading without harsh chemicals. Priced at $8.99 per treatment, the service offers up to eight weeks of shoe protection, which may have implications for extending the lifespan of shoes while aligning with sustainability trends.

The Imbox system, which has received industry recognition for innovation and design, operates as a touch-free, enclosed unit.
