Some bands keep it all in the family.
From HAIM and the Jackson 5 to the Jonas Brothers and The Beach Boys, plenty of famous musical groups have made their sibling connections part of their identity. But for others, those family ties aren’t quite as obvious.
Growing up together can give siblings a unique musical chemistry, whether it’s harmonizing on stage, writing songs or building a career from the ground up. Of course, working with family can also come with its challenges, from creative differences and sibling rivalries to navigating the pressures of fame.
And for some bands, that shared journey has been marked by heartbreaking loss. Most recently, country trio Taylor Red lost one of its members, Nicole Taylor, who died at 35 in September 2026 following a terminal breast cancer diagnosis. Her identical triplet sisters and bandmates, Nika and Natalie Taylor, announced her death on Nov. 2.
From rock legends to pop favorites, here are nine bands that include — or once included — members who are siblings.

Neil opened up about his exit in an August 2026 post on Instagram, claiming he was “terminated” from the group and lost “financial interest.” (A rep for The Band Perry did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment at the time.)
The Band Perry has continued with Kimberly and her husband making music as a duo. When they released their song “Psychological” in February 2026, Kimberly told PEOPLE the new iteration of the group is what she and Costello are calling “Band Perry season 2.”
