Beau Lamarre-Condon claimed he contacted a female friend to help him dispose of the bodies because his male mate was having his car serviced.
‘I was going to ask him for help first because obviously he’s a lot stronger than (Elizabeth Kennedy) to help me,’ he said.
‘But (my mate) had his car booked in for servicing, so he also had work and he couldn’t help me.
‘So as a last resort, I called (Elizabeth) again, telling her that now I’m going to need her help, even though she agreed to help me the day before, and that’s when she recommended some items to buy from Bunnings.’
Lamarre-Condon claimed the van containing the bodies of his alleged victims, stashed under a blue tarp, had been loaded with gear.
‘The wheelbarrow, the six bags of concrete, the shovel. I think I had the chainsaw in the box there, and I had heaps of other items,’ he said.
Lamarre-Condon claimed he told Kennedy she risked becoming an accessory to the alleged crime by helping him.
‘I said (Elizabeth) this is serious. I’m not joking. Essentially, that she could be charged with being an accessory.
‘(She) said, “What the f**k? Are you mucking around?”, I said, “No”, and “I really need you to see this before you get in the car, so you can make the decision to leave. I will not be mad”.’
Wiping his eyes yet again. Lamarre-Condon insisted Kennedy offered to help him.
‘I started crying and having a panic attack, and I said “I should just go to police right now, shouldn’t I?” And she said, “No, no, you can’t. What if they don’t believe you? You’re a police officer. You could go to jail and get killed”.’
‘And then she said she would help me.’
Lamarre-Condon claimed he told her ‘very, very clearly’ he would not be mad at her if she walked away.
‘I completely understand that I was asking her to do a big favour, but she just wanted to be a good friend and help me,’ he said.
Lamarre-Condon claimed it was then Kennedy made the reference to the Taylor Swift track.
‘She referred to the Taylor Swift song again. She’s a massive Taylor Swift fan … It’s called “No Body, No Crime.”,’ he said.
