With its latest sequel now on streaming, Dexter remains one of the biggest crime drama franchises on television. Nearly 20 years ago, Dexter introduced audiences to a chilling but complex antihero in Dexter Morgan, who channels his dark urge to kill into hunting down other deadly killers. As he tried to hide his double life as a vigilante and support his family, Dexter became a compelling but unconventional portrait of a serial killer.

As of October 30, the first episode of Dexter: Resurrection season 2 is available to stream. The show will continue to release a new episode every Friday until its tenth and final episode on January 1, 2027. In the meantime, you can stream every episode from the show’s first season on Paramount+

However, Dexter falls under the Showtime banner, so you can only stream the series with a Paramount+ Premium subscription, which costs $13.99 per month. While New Blood and Original Sin struggled to live up to fans of franchise’s first series, Resurrection has presented a strong comeback for Dexter Morgan.
