One thing I appreciate about Mes Chaussettes Rouges is that they never seem to stop improving their offering. Their selection has grown tremendously over the years, and they now have an updated website that makes finding what you are looking for much easier.

Whether you prefer knee-high socks, mid-calf, lightweight cotton, wool, cashmere, or something more specific, you can now navigate through the different categories and narrow things down without having to sift through hundreds of pairs.

And believe me, they have hundreds of options!

One collection worth checking out is their Made in Paris range. While MCR has long been known for carrying some of the finest Italian sock makers, they also have their own knitting workshop in Paris, where they create special collections using their own machinery.

The collection includes some beautiful cotton-lisle combinations alongside luxurious cashmere and silk blends. I particularly like seeing brands take the initiative to produce something themselves rather than simply relying on other manufacturers. It adds another dimension to what MCR offers. They also have an extensive selection of more traditional winter socks, including merino wool and their super-durable ranges. If you are someone who wears boots regularly or simply likes a warmer sock during the colder months, there are plenty of options worth exploring.

Don’t Forget About the No-Show Socks!

Now, I know we are heading into winter, but I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t mention their no-show socks. These have genuinely become one of my favorite discoveries from MCR in recent years.

For the longest time, I was never a no-show sock guy. I either wore regular socks with my sneakers or went completely sockless in my loafers. The few no-show socks I had tried over the years always seemed to slip off my heel, which drove me crazy. So I simply avoided them.
