Rashida Nicole Opens Up About Relationship With LiAngelo Ball While Speaking About The Part She Played In His Split From MissNikkiiBaby
Earlier this week, Instagram user @livebitez shared a clip from a TV appearance featuring Rashida Nicole. In the clip, she was speaking to a friend about her relationship with LiAngelo Ball. Nicole explained that LiAngelo Ball allegedly presented himself as a single man interested in parenting.
“I might have been misinformed,” she stated. “But, okay.”
From there, Nicole explained that she and Ball “fell in love with each other” and got married. And then she became pregnant. At that point, Nicole appeared to explain how her pregnancy was overshadowed by blog reports and incorrect information about her already having more than one child.
“It was just like so much back and forth messiness,” she explained.
Nicole then attributed the messiness to why she “kind of did apologize” to MissNikkiiBaby.
“Because it’s like, the part I played in it could have been handled way better, you know? Like, because I never want someone else to experience pain on behalf of me, even though it didn’t necessarily have to deal with me,” she said. “But you know, I can apologize for the part I played.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, in December 2025, Rashida Nicole took to Instagram to share a “transparency post.” The post confirmed that she and LiAngelo Ball were divorcing after just tying the knot in March 2025. Furthermore, she shared that her and Ball’s relationship was strained. However, she apologized to Nikki and shared that they were focused on raising their kids.
“Thank you for you’re apology I really do appreciate it, praying for positivity & to move forward for our kids 🙏❤️,” Nikki replied in the comment section of Rashida Nicole’s post.
Later that month, Rashida Nicole revealed that LiAngelo Ball still hadn’t met their daughter. However, footage showed him attending the birthday party for his and Nikki’s daughter, per The Shade Room. Additionally, Ball publicly expressed regret for leaving Nikki, per The Shade Room. Specifically, he added that he never wanted to marry Nicole, and Nicole shot back, calling him a “clown” and a “deadbeat” who never takes accountability.
