Every Friday, Pluto TV will pair two films with stories that share a specific theme. One film will be a well-known classic, while the other will make its streaming debut on the platform. Next month’s lineup will feature movies starring Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Christopher Walken, Daisy Ridley, and more.

November 6: Man on Fire and Hostile Takeover – The theme is “Two High-Stakes Action Thrillers About One Person Willing to Go to Extreme Lengths to Fight Back.” Man on Fire stars Denzel Washington as a retired but vengeful CIA officer who fights to rescue a nine-year-old girl. Hostile Takeover follows a hitman who fights a group of assassins sent by his crime boss after attending Workaholics Anonymous meetings
November 13: The Equalizer 2 and Cleaner – The theme is “Two Relentless Heroes Take Matters Into Their Own Hands When There’s No One Else Left to Turn To.” The first film also stars Denzel Washington in one of his most iconic action roles. Meanwhile, the second film follows a soldier turned window cleaner who fights to rescue hundreds of hostages.
November 20: Deja Vu and The Wasp – The theme is “Two Twisty Thrillers Where The Past Isn’t Quite Finished With Them Yet.” Yet another Denzel Washington film, Deja Vu follows a special agent who travels through time. The Wasp follows two friends who reconnect after several years apart, with one of them offering a life-changing proposition.
November 27: Dreamgirls and Albany Road – The theme is “Two Powerful Stories About Finding Your Voice, Following Your Dreams and Navigating Life’s Unexpected Turns.” Dreamgirls features a story of three singers based on The Supremes, while Albany Road follows a woman who shares a rental car with her ex-fiance’s mother.
Hosted by ET correspondent Emily Curl, Double Feature Fridays streams at 8 p.m. EST on Pluto TV Spotlight. Each installment then joins the Double Feature Fridays collection on demand. These weekly screenings also feature behind-the-scenes footage and exclusive interviews about the movies.
