A video making rounds online shows a man holding up a sign asking Angel to be his wife. Angel ended up peeping the viral clip, and her response has the TL in complete TEARS!

Angel Reese Reacts After A Fan Tries To Put A Ring On It!

Okay, so BOOM! Recently, a content creator who goes by @tikibeen1 on TikTok dropped a video showing his attempt to propose to Angel Reese during a basketball game. In the clip, the man pulls up in a suit and tie, looking dapper for his big moment. He even held up a huge sign that read, “Angel Will You Marry Me?” And chileeee, he was not playing about shooting his shot! As he tried to get Angel’s attention, he even yelled out, “Angel, I love you!”

Angel didn’t appear to respond to his proposal during the game, but she definitely had something to say once she peeped his TikTok video. The basketball star slid right into the comment section and made it clear that the marriage was a no for her, but she was down to put him on with one of her friends instead, writing, “not in this lifetime but i have some fine friendsssss.” Tikibeen1 later responded with, “Wtwwwww twinnnnie,” along with laughing emojis.

Once The Shade Room dropped Angel’s response, fans were in complete shambles in the comment section. Angel Reese might’ve turned down the fan’s proposal because she already has a boo! Fans know the basketball baddie has seemingly been locked in with Wendell Carter Jr. for a minute now. In September, Wendell even pulled up to support her during the Chicago Sky’s game against Atlanta Dream. They looked real cuffed up in a photo that circulated online showing them smiling and sharing a sweet hug.

It’s unclear exactly when Angel and Wendell started dating, but they first sparked romance rumors back in December 2025. During an interview with ‘Run It Back TV’ at the time, Wendell was asked if he and Angel were dating, and he responded saying, “That’s the homie. We locked in. That’s my girl though, y’all gon’ find out when y’all need to find out.”
