Street Fighter (2026) 4K UHD, Blu-ray and streaming release available

Just a few weeks after Resident Evil became one of the most well-received video game adaptations of all time, film fans have another video game-inspired movie hitting the multiplex this weekend. Street Fighter, based on the ’90s arcade hit, is a total reboot of the film series of the same name, and while critics haven’t exactly impressed with the movie (it currently has a 44% on Rotten Tomatoes) it may still pique the interest of fans of the video game series, especially since it has been over a decade since the last Street Fighter movie, the extremely-poorly received Legend of Chun-Li.

Starring a surprising amount of A-list actors including Noah Centineo and Andrew Koji as Ken and Ryu, respectively, as well as Jason Momoa as Blanka, Cody Rhodes as Guile, and 50 Cent as Balrog, the film follows estranged street fighters Ryu and Ken as they find their way back into the ring when the mysterious Chun-Li recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament. However, the reunion between the two fighters is fraught with more than just personal stakes as there is more to this battle royale than meets the eye.

Despite competition from several other movies this weekend (and the aforementioned poor reviews), Deadline reports that Street Fighter is tracking to top the box office both globally and domestically and is projected to notch a near-$70 million international opening weekend, which would make it almost instantly profitable against its $85 million production budget.

Though it looks like fans will be turning out in droves this weekend to check out this new movie, if you’d rather wait until it hits the small screen, here’s everything we know about the upcoming physical, digital, and streaming release of this new version of Street Fighter.

Preorders for Street Fighter (2026) are now available on multiple platforms

No release dates are available, but digital should be available before the end of the year

While we don’t have an at-home streaming date yet, Street Fighter is now available to pre-order digitally on several major platforms, including Fandango at Home for $25. For those who would like a physical and digital copy, pre-orders for the film in a 4K UHD, Blu-ray and digital copy combo pack are now available on Amazon for $39. The retailer also has a special edition “choose your fighter” 4K UHD steelbook that allows users to choose from hero or villain-themed box art and costs $49. For those who only want a standard DVD of the film, a single disc edition with no digital copy is also available on Amazon for $26.

Currently, none of these pre-order pages contain a release date, but unless this becomes a runaway box office success, it seems likely that a digital release will happen sometime before Thanksgiving. As for the physical release, I’d expect that to follow along shortly after, with this title hitting store shelves (or your mailbox if you decide to preorder) before the end of the year.

When will Street Fighter stream on Paramount+?

Sometime in 2027

Paramount+ on iPhone.

Because it is a Paramount release, Street Fighter’s first stop after its VOD exclusivity window will be Paramount+. While the movie will likely be on VOD in just a few weeks, platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home have an exclusivity deal that will keep it from hitting a “free” streamer for at least 60 days. With that in mind, January 2027 seems like the absolute earliest that this film will be available to stream for Paramount+ subscribers.

Eventually, Street Fighter may end up on Netflix as Paramount sometimes licenses their films to stream on the service. However, if that were to happen it wouldn’t be for a long time as newer releases typically stay exclusive to Paramount+ for a year or more.
