Kennedy scion Conor Kennedy has been spotted mingling with friends in Rio de Janeiro as his lavish three-day Brazilian wedding extravaganza, complete with the Christ the Redeemer statue as a backdrop, is set to kick off, the Daily Mail can reveal.
Robert F Kennedy Jr’s son, 32, was snapped soaking up the sun at the swanky five-star luxury Hotel Fasano on Friday ahead of the celebration of his marriage to Brazilian pop star Giulia Be, exclusive photos show.
Dressed casually in a pair of white linen pants and black T-shirt, the lawyer could be seen hanging out with pals and loved ones on the hotel’s rooftop throughout the day.
At one point, he was spotted lingering outside the hotel lobby with a takeaway coffee cup and phone in hand as he waited to be whisked away in a taxi.
The sighting came as Kennedy and his 27-year-old bride, whose real name is Giulia Bourguignon Marinho, were due to host their over-the-top wedding celebrations in her native country.
It wasn’t immediately clear if the hotel overlooking Ipanema Beach – where suites go for as much as $2,500 a night – was a base for the festivities.
The couple, who have been engaged since 2024, already had a small civil ceremony in Los Angeles back in March.
But Be, a Latin Grammy nominee, teased in a Brazilian magazine interview earlier this year that the main event would be happening in her beloved Rio de Janeiro in October.

The couple’s celebrations are slated to include a welcome party, a blessing of their two families at the base of the Christ the Redeemer statue, a religious ceremony at a local church and then a party, Gshow mag previously reported.
‘One of the first things I said [to Conor] was: “My love, I love you, but I’m not getting married in Massachusetts,”‘ the singer told the outlet, referring to the Kennedy clan’s home state, where they famously have a compound on Cape Cod.
‘I think Brazil is one of the best places to get married. We know how to do it, we give ourselves body and soul, and the party doesn’t end at 10 pm. That’s something very important that I wanted to show people.’
It wasn’t immediately clear how many of Kennedy’s big name relatives were slated to fly in for this weekend’s nuptials.
His bride, though, dropped in the interview that his family alone – including his dad and actress stepmom Cheryl Hines – made up a staggering 150 names on the guest list.
‘I’m from the most beautiful city in the world, and this was my only chance to really bring his whole family and friends to Brazil. I needed to show them the best of Brazil, so I want to throw an incredible party,’ Be said.
‘Imagine you’ve never seen Christ the Redeemer, and you’re going to see it for the first time at a wedding. It’s truly very special.’
The couple, who are based in Los Angeles, revealed, too, that they had been hard at work trying to blend their two different cultures for their big day.

‘We wanted to adapt to things they’re used to doing at their weddings. So, speeches, for example, are something that’s now a bit more common at Brazilian weddings, but it wasn’t always like that. In the US, speeches are the most important thing,’ Be said.
‘Yes, especially in my family,’ Kennedy chimed in.
The marriage celebration comes just weeks after he was put on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s most wanted list for traveling to Ukraine to fight with the International Legion in 2022.
It is unclear if Brazil has an extradition agreement with Russia.
Kennedy, who is the grandson of Sen. Robert F Kennedy and the great-nephew of President John F Kennedy, started dating his bride the year he went to Ukraine.
He proposed before Be, who has several Portuguese chart-toppers, opted to relocate from Brazil to the US.
Sharing news of the proposal on Instagram, the pop star, who boasts 2.5 million followers, posted a video of the couple dancing in a candlelit room as she sobbed and exclaimed: ‘This is the best day ever!’

Meanwhile, Kennedy’s wedding spectacle comes just months after his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift staged an extravaganza of her own when she tied the knot with Kansas City Chiefs’ Travis Kelce in New York City.
Conor and Taylor had a brief romance back in 2012 during which she was spotted frequently at the Kennedy family’s famed Cape Cod home.
Before proposing to Be, Kennedy also had prior dalliances with model Michaela Vybohova and was spotted with Ava Dash, daughter of Damon Dash, in 2021.
