In fact, it appears Anthony Joshua has been here a while because he has even wrapped up a podcast.

Joshua is sporting his usual press conference attire, and I have to say, he seems very laid back.

Let’s see what he will be like when he gets on stage.

But soon enough, this stage at the British Airways Arc in London will be electric. It’s all going to kick off; you can just feel it.

The calm before the storm, you could say.

I think we should scrap this mega fight and get Eddie Hearn scrapping UFC boss Dana White as our main event.

I mean, who wouldn’t pay to watch that?

The two promoters have a real history of dislike for each other and it has gone to a whole new level this past week.

This monster bout was all signed, sealed, and almost delivered last Thursday when it was announced that Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury would do battle at the Principality Stadium on December 11.

But then less than a day later, it all seemed to go pear-shaped once the involvement of White was laid bare by Netflix. This enraged Hearn and his Matchroom team, and in turn put the bout in jeopardy.

There has been a real war of words since, and plenty of doubt, but White has since confirmed he would not attend the presser.

And it seems, the fight is on.

Tyson Fury has cut short his family holiday at Disney World in the US to return to London for the press conference. I wonder how Paris is feeling about that.

Of course, the Gypsy King is sporting a snazzy suit as always, but he doesn’t exactly seem a happy chappy.

No smile in sight.

It’s about time, eh?

The British boxing community have been begging to see Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua go head-to-head for at least 10 years.

They have been the best heavyweights in this country for a long time, and a decade ago, they both had unbeaten records and were winning world titles.

The pair of them, of course, defeated the great Wladimir Klitschko, and following all of those bouts, it felt like a great time for both Fury and Joshua to face off, seeing as they were in their prime.

But instead, we have had to wait until they are in their late 30s, with their best days long behind them.

Still, it’s a fight we all wanted to see, so we can’t complain after it finally looks like it’s happening.

Better late than never.

It’s happening. At last, it’s happening.

Well, if things stay as they are right now, we may genuinely finally watch two of Britain’s very best heavyweights of all time go head to head in the ring come December.

Despite the rollercoaster we have been on since Anthony Joshua’s mega-fight with Tyson Fury was announced last week – at times it appearing on, then off, then on, then off… you get the gist – we will see them face off for the first time ahead of the bout today.

The first fight press conference in London will begin at 6pm this evening, so stay put and enjoy the build-up. You just know its going to be fireworks later.
