Chloe Bailey is saying goodbye to her insecurities.

Three months after releasing her and Timbaland’s mixtape Resurrection, the “Boy Bye” singer shared how she’s entering a new chapter of rebirth in both her music and her personal life.

“We are in the resurrection era,” Bailey exclusively told E! News’ Keltie Knight on the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards blue carpet Sept. 27. “It feels really nice being delusional. And I will continue to be delulu until it gets me to the top.”

As for how she approaches this mindset, the Chloe x Halle member explained, “Believing in myself, never doubting anything, and knowing I’m number one.”

“It’s time for me to put insecurities, anything to the side, any outer validation,’ she continued. “As long as I’m happy with it and proud, I will put it out.”

In fact, the “Treat Me” artist put her words into action by taking a fashion risk at the VMAs, showing off her curves in a body-hugging silver embellished gown with cutouts.
