A storm sweeping up the northern Atlantic coast is causing havoc on the Week 3 NFL schedule as high winds and driving rain lead to falling ticket prices and flooded parking lots.

Beginning on Friday, an extensive nor’easter blew across the Northeastern United States and is currently parked off the coast of Atlantic City, New Jersey. The breadth of the storm extends as far north as Maritime Canada, as far west as central Pennsylvania and as far south as the Delmarva peninsula.

Currently, two Sunday NFL games are affected by this storm: Tennessee @ the New York Giants and Seattle @ Washington.

While the storm is expected to move out of the DC area later this afternoon, no such respite is in store for the New York Area – which has taken the brunt of the wind and rain.

A viral video from MetLife Stadium showed that the parking lot was dealing with flooding so severe that porta-potties were floating away on their own.

Ticket prices for the Giants game have plummeted – in part due to the weather and in part due to the team’s grim season outlook after Jaxson Dart went down with an injury.
