Kylie Minogue’s blockbuster MCG performance has sparked a fierce debate, with viewers questioning the sound while others declared it the greatest grand final pre-game show ever.

The pop superstar opened her 20-minute set with Love At First Sight before rolling through favourites including The Loco-Motion, Can’t Get You Out of My Head and Confide In Me.

G Flip also joined her for Padam Padam.

But some watching at home were less than impressed.

‘Kylie doing karaoke versions of her own songs,’ one viewer wrote.

‘Kylie is an Aussie icon but this well this has been horrendously bad,’ another posted.

Others questioned the broadcast audio, with one asking: ‘Just me or her audio seems off?’

There was plenty of support, too.

‘Gotta say Kylie is killing it at the pre-game entertainment! Absolutely brilliant!!’ one fan wrote.

‘Anyone saying this is bad needs to learn how to have fun,’ another added.

The Melbourne-born singer’s appearance reportedly came with a $3million payday, according to New Idea.

Kylie had admitted to pre-show nerves on Friday, saying: ‘I am nervous, excited right now. I am all those things.’
