Former Wimbledon finalist Amanda Anisimova has fired back at suggestions she is on weight-loss medication following an impressive body transformation.
The 25-year-old has undergone a remarkable transformation and hasn’t shied away from showing it off on social media, posing in a number of selfies and other photos that she has shared to her Instagram profile.
She hasn’t been scared to discuss the topic in the past, and has now spoken out after fans questioned how she lost weight.
‘To all the health experts and professional body commentators in the comments, I’m not using Ozempic,’ she wrote on social media. ‘Please leave me alone and out of your unique posts.’
She now appears to have deleted the post, which was shared to her 522,000 followers on Instagram.
Anisimova has had run-ins online around comments about her weight before, once responding to an X user who branded her ‘too fat’.

She replied: ‘How your comments find me,’ alongside a photo of her poking her tongue out in the pool.
In 2023, meanwhile, she said after the Madrid Open: ‘The amount of people who comment on my body every day on social media… will never understand what the hyper fixation is about.’
Not long after, she took a break from tennis to help protect her mental health.
Earlier this year she said: ‘It’s overall cyber bullying all the time, like commenting on everything, like my body all the time, every single day.’
Anisimova is currently ranked 11th in the world, having achieved a career-high rank of three at the start of the year.
She reached the final of Wimbledon last year, but lost to champion Iga Swiatek without winning a game.
She also reached the final of the US Open last year, but fell at the third round in her home tournament this time around.
Anisimova also has a French Open semi-final appearance to her name, which she made when she was still a teenager in 2019, and an Australian Open quarter-final.
