The parents of alleged murder victim Jesse Baird, 26, have arrived at the NSW Supreme Court.

Helen and Gary Baird held hands as they walked to the court on Monday morning, ahead of Beau Lamarre-Condon’s murder trial.

Lamarre-Condon is accused of killing their son and his new partner, Luke Davies, 29, in a terrace in Paddington in February 2024.

Baird, a televison presenter for Channel Ten, and Lamarre-Condon were in a relationship prior to the alleged murders.

All legal teams were photographed walking into the NSW Supreme Court on Monday.

Beau Lamarre-Condon is represented by Sydney barrister John Stratton SC.

The Crown’s case is being run by Brett Hatfield SC (pictured below, and far right with Crown prosecutors).

Lamarre-Condon arrived in a police van (pictured below).

Media cannot publish court proceedings until the jury enters the courtroom, which may not be until later this morning.

Beau Lamarre-Condon’s trial over the alleged murders of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies will begin at 10am on Monday.

Lamarre-Condon, 31, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of domestic violence-related murder over the alleged incident in Paddington, in Sydney’s inner-east, in February 2024.

He has also pleaded not guilty to one count of aggravated break and enter over an alleged incident in August 2023.

Lamarre-Condon was charged just days after police issued a public appeal for information to find the missing couple, who were last seen at a pre-Mardi Gras event.

Personal items belonging to the couple were allegedly found in a bin in Cronulla, about 30km south of Paddington.

The matter will be heard before Justice Natalie Adams.

The jury will be empanelled before Crown Prosecutor Brett Hatfield SC makes an opening address.
