Two people who died in a light plane crash south of Brisbane on Monday have been identified as Queensland businessman Ian Campbell and his daughter, Hannah Campbell.
The duo were onboard a Beechcraft A36 Bonanza that crashed into a rural property on Musch Road at Chambers Flat near Logan shortly after 11am on Monday.
They had departed Brisbane’s Archerfield Airport and were airborne for 18 minutes before the plane crashed, according to FlightRadar24 data.
Locals called Triple Zero after hearing an explosion and seeing black smoke billowing into the air.
Mr Campbell, 56, founded dairy business Barambah Organics. Hannah Campbell is believed to have been 23.
