Late boxing legend Ricky Hatton’s house has finally been sold after £350,000 was lopped off the original asking price.
The luxurious detached home originally went on the market for £1,850,000 but sold for £1.5million earlier this year, Land Registry documents show.
The sale comes amid claims around the money left for his family. In July it was reported that a row had erupted over Hatton’s £40million estate, with close family in the dark over how the cash will be distributed.
The house, where Hatton was found hanged in September last year, was put up for sale shortly before his death for £1.85million but was later taken off the market following his tragic death aged 46.
The mansion then went back on offer for £1.75million, then £1.65million before it was sold for £1.5million.
Ricky’s body was found in the games room of his house by his manager Paul Speak but there was no mention of a tragedy taking place in the property in the estate agent’s description.
