The parents of a little boy who was found wandering alone on a Sydney street in the middle of the night have finally been found.

Police were called to MacDonald Street at Ramsgate, in the city’s south, about 2.10am on Tuesday after the boy was spotted alone on the road.

He was wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, and did not have any shoes on when he was found.

Officers from St George Police Area Command searched the surrounding area but were unable to find his parents.

But hours after he was found wandering the streets alone, he was reunited with his parents at about 8am on Tuesday.

‘The parents of a toddler found in the Ramsgate area have been located,’ NSW Police said.

‘Police would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal. Inquiries are continuing into the incident.’
