Amgen’s Repatha cuts death risk by 20% in heart study (AMGN:NASDAQ)

Amgen (AMGN) said new findings from a pre-specified Phase 3 VESALIUS-CV trial analysis showed Repatha (evolocumab) reduced the risk of death by 20% in high-risk adults without a prior heart attack or stroke when added to statins or other LDL-C-lowering treatments.
