Sabrina Spellman is returning this year to sprinkle some magic for her longtime fans with a new issue. The Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina became a massive fan favorite, running for 2 seasons as the young witch juggled her life as a sorceress with the challenges of being a teenager and her relationship with Harvey. Her struggle to choose between two different paths in life intrigued fans throughout the series.

But while the much-beloved Netflix series has been canceled, the original comic book series featuring the young witch, on which the show was based, is returning with a new deluxe edition. 

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina returns for comics edition

Oni Press and Penguin Random House have announced that a deluxe edition of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will be released on November 17, 2026. The edition will follow Sabrina as she faces a terrifying demonic entity known as Madam Satan. The series takes a darker and more gruesome approach to Sabrina Spellman’s adventures.

It will collect nine stories from the original comic series. The original comic series was created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Robert Hack. The deluxe edition will also include new bonus material written by Eisner Award-nominated author Cullen Bunn, with art by Dan Schoening, and it will be priced at $39.99, as reported by CBR.

For fans who discovered Sabrina through Netflix’s live-action adaptation, the comic will likely have plenty of familiar elements while taking the character’s supernatural adventures in an even darker direction. So, with the series returning in this new deluxe edition, longtime fans and newcomers alike will have another reason to revisit Sabrina’s terrifying world. And this is not the only new edition fans should look forward to.

Another release following Sabrina Spellman’s adventures is also set to be released this year.

This is great news for fans of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, as the comic book series is set to return with a new edition. The comic book series will get a new issue, Sabrina the Teenage Witch #1, as per Oni Press. It will follow Sabrina Spellman as she deals with life in high school while trying to balance both sides of her life as a teenager and a witch.

Hugo Award-nominated writer Corinna Bechko and Eisner Award-nominated artist Kano are set to helm the series. The new issue will debut on Oct. 7, 2026. So, fans will be looking forward to the new release right before the deluxe edition arrives in November.
