Usain Bolt is running towards his happily ever after.

After all, the eight-time Olympic gold medalist proposed to his longtime girlfriend Kasi Bennett after more than a decade of dating as they celebrated his 40th birthday, Bennett shared on social media.

“So many sleepless nights planning UB’s 40th with Kasi…little did she know we were secretly planning the surprise of a lifetime,” the couple’s friend Nikolette Williams wrote on Instagram Aug. 22, which Bennett shared on her Instagram Story. “You both deserve all the happiness in the world. UB’s heart is literally gold, and Kasi the absolutely sweetest!”

The model, donning a sparkling form-fitting gown for the occasion, showed off her oval-cut diamond ring in another Instagram Story.

Ahead of the proposal, Bennett—who shares kids Olympia, 6, and 5-year-old twins Thunder and Saint with Bolt—honored her longtime love for his 40th birthday with a sweet tribute.
