Salma Hayek Becomes a Grandma as Stepson François Pinault Jr. Welcomes Baby With Wife Lara
Salma Hayek Pinault is stepping in as a grown-up to a new little one.
The Frida actress announced that she and husband François-Henri Pinault have become grandparents after his son François Jr. and his wife Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck welcomed a baby boy in July.
“We are blessed to welcome the fourth living generation of Francois,” Salma captioned an adorable Aug. 16 video of her getting her grandson to giggle while speaking Spanish. “Although I will call him Panchito. He seems to love it.”
Indeed, the sweet pet name meaning “little Frank” stems from the Latin name Pancho, a traditional nickname referring to someone named Francisco.
And Salma is already taken by the newborn, writing, “I cannot love him more.”
The tiny addition joins Salma’s blended family, which also includes her daughter Valentina Pinault, 18, and her stepchildren Mathilde Pinault, 25, and Augustin Evangelista, 19, from François-Henri’s previous relationships with exes Dorothée Lepère and Linda Evangelista, respectively.
