It’s that time of the year again – the transfer window is now open until September 1 and it’s sure to be a busy period with clubs looking to make big signings ahead of next season.

Juventus swoop to gazump Blues
Juventus have made a £26million bid plus add-ons and a sell-on clause for Chelsea target Kerim Alajbegovic.
The Bayer Leverkusen teenager was leaning towards a move to Chelsea but is now closing on agreement with Juve as they would put him in the first team squad.
Hull City eye Augsburg’s Komur
Hull City have asked about Germany U21 midfielder Mert Komur from Augsburg. Hull have also enquired about Rayo Vallecano defender Nobel Mendy.
Reds ramp up Barcola talks
Liverpool have been speaking with Bradley Barcola’s representatives about the France international joining this summer.
A bid is being prepared with Barcola intimating he is keen on moving to Anfield and it is now a question of how negotiations go with his club Paris St Germain.

There is a belief a compromise could be reached for less than the £140million that PSG sources initially quoted.
The 23-year-old still has two years left on contract but has indicated he will not be signing a new one amid frustrations at a lack of starting time.

Man City push for World Cup wonderkid
Manchester City and Lille are holding further negotiations over the proposed £80million transfer of midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi.
The teenage Morocco international is ready to make the move now though Lille would prefer him to stay for another season.
City would want Bouaddi for this season with Real Madrid ready to push for Rodri who is keen to return to Spain for family reasons.
Though they have added Elliot Anderson, they have lost Bernardo Silva and could also sell Nico Gonzalez and Tijjani Reijnders who has interest from Galatasaray and earlier in the summer Atletico Madrid.
The 18-year-old Bouaddi has plenty of admirers but City are ready to meet the terms required to prise him away.

Henderson exit paves way for Chelsea move
Brentford have announced that Jordan Henderson has left the club by mutual consent.
The 36-year-old has held talks with Xabi Alonso ahead of joining Chelsea.
As Daily Mail Sport reported, Brentford are working to sign Mamadou Sangare from Lens and have interest in Pape Sarr from Spurs.
Potters star attracting attention
Stoke City winger Sorba Thomas is attracting interest from Coventry City, West Ham, Stuttgart and Genoa.
The Wales international impressed against Everton in Stoke’s 1-0 friendly win on Tuesday evening and interest has been building in the 27-year-old following his last campaign where he scored ten goals in the Championship.
Stoke are understood to value him around £9million.

Boro ask about in-demand Travers
Middlesbrough have made enquiries for Everton goalkeeper Mark Travers over a permanent transfer.
The Republic of Ireland keeper, who started in Everton’s friendly defeat to Stoke on Tuesday night, has been the subject of a number of enquiries this summer including from Coventry who finally agreed a £22.5million fee plus add ons with Brighton for Carl Rushworth on Tuesday.
Iliman Ndiaye is subject to interest from Saudi side Al Hilal this summer
Boro have also asked about Manchester United’s Radek Vitek but 27-year-old Travers has been at the club before on loan and could prove cheaper. He joined Everton from Bournemouth last year in a four-year deal.
Meanwhile, Everton have still to receive an offer from Al Hilal for Iliman Ndiaye. They are aware of interest but have no desire to sell, though the 26-year-old has turned down offers of a new contract.
Koleosho heads to Paris
Burnley winger Luca Koleosho has completed a permanent move to Ligue 1 side Paris FC for an undisclosed fee.
Clyne flies the Eagles nest again
Crystal Palace have confirmed that Nathaniel Clyne has left the club following the expiration of his contract.
The full back, who made 252 appearances across two stints at Selhurst Park, told Palace TV: ‘The last few seasons have given me some of the best days of my life.
‘When I started at Crystal Palace we were in the Championship. Now the club is playing European football, having nights like we did in Leipzig.’
Palace remain in talks over a possible permanent deal for Takehiro Tomiyasu, who is training with the club in Como. Discussions are also continuing over defensive targets Chrislain Matsima and Raphael Le Guen.

Bees looking to seal £41m Sangare deal
Brentford are closing in on an agreement with Lens for Mamadou Sangare worth around £41million.
As Daily Mail Sport reported yesterday, Brentford moved quickly to fend off competition for the 24-year-old from Crystal Palace.
Brentford are long-term admirers of the player and signing a new central midfielder was a priority even before Chelsea moved for Jordan Henderson. They also like Spurs’ Pape Matar Sarr.
City teen heads to Leicester
Manchester City left back Christian McFarlane has joined Leicester on loan.
McFarlane, 19, becomes the third signing through the door at the King Power Stadium this summer. He joins Conor Chaplin and Alex McCarthy in bolstering Russell Martin’s squad.

McFarlane said: ‘As a player, I’m intense and aggressive at both ends – attacking and defending. I like to make runs in behind and can be a bit of a nuisance for the opposition.

Blues close to landing Lund
Birmingham are closing on a deal for Palermo left back Kristoffer Lund.
The 24-year-old Dane spent last season on loan at Cologne but the German side did not take up their £2.5m option to buy.
Solomon set on permanent switch
Manor Solomon wants to leave Tottenham on a permanent transfer amid interest from West Ham.
The Israeli winger’s agent has made it clear he does not wish for another loan move, after spells with Leeds, Villarreal and Fiorentina, and that’s expected to suit Spurs as they look to recoup funds and upgrade their wide options.
Meanwhile, Spurs are closing on agreement with Wolves for Kwasi Senyah. The 16-year-old defensive midfielder and England youth international was wanted by several clubs but will join Spurs once terms are agreed and it is cleared by the FA.
Benfica are showing interest in Spurs left wing-back Souza while Leicester remain hopeful of taking 18-year-old centre back prospect Malachi Hardy.

Rovers return for Vaulks
Wales international Will Vaulks is in talks over a move to Tranmere.
The 32-year-old started his career with the Wirral club but never made a senior appearance.
Vaulks has gone on to play nearly 600 games at Sheffield Wednesday, Cardiff and Rotherham before arriving at Oxford United. He made 38 appearances in the Championship for them last season but is now looking to return home.
Tranmere have also snapped up goalkeeper Harrison Male on a one-year contract. The 25-year-old was a free transfer after he was released by York City earlier this summer.
He played 46 games as the Minstermen pipped Rochdale to the National League title and won Golden Glove after keeping 19 clean sheets.
