Horror as body is found in driveway in quiet Sydney suburb as police launch urgent probe



A man has been found dead in the driveway of a partially alight home in Sydney’s west in what police described as a targeted attack.

Emergency services were called to Wargon Crescent in Glenmore Park shortly before 1am on Thursday following reports of a fire.

Police attended the scene and located the body of a man outside a partially alight property.

He is yet to be formally identified.

Fire and Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze.

A crime scene was established as detectives launched an investigation into the blaze which is being treated as suspicious.

Police and forensic officers remain at the scene on Thursday morning.
