Last month, the actress stepped out in a pair of shoes that, truth be told, we couldn’t quite figure out at first. Are they sneakers? Are they flats? Our guess was as good as yours. Come to find out, they’re both!

Turns out, the star had on a $130 pair of Mary Jane sneakers from Salomon, a brand that Hilary Duff and Hailey Bieber also recently stepped out in. And now that we know what they are and just how epic they’d be for step-heavy summer activities, we’re snatching them as soon as possible.

While Salomon sneakers are, in part, known for their shoelaces that never come untied, this pair doesn’t have any at all. What they do have, though, is a thick adjustable strap that will keep your shoes right where they need to be — i.e., on your feet.

They also have a mesh upper to keep your feet from getting too hot, as well as a pillow-like EVA insole that fights fatigue. Case in point: “Even after walking for a long time, my feet didn’t feel too tired,” said one shopper. Meanwhile, a second shopper, who bought them for a three-week trip, said the shoes were so comfy, they “didn’t even need to switch over to my [regular] sneakers.”
