Lamine Yamal enjoyed a touching moment with his adorable three-year-old brother as he celebrated Spain’s quarter-final win over Belgium at the World Cup on Friday.

Mikel Merino netted the winner off the bench to hand Spain a 2-1 victory in Los Angeles after Belgium’s Charles De Ketelaere cancelled out Fabian Ruiz’s goal at the end of the first half.

As Spain celebrated on the pitch at the end of the match, having set up a tantalising semi-final showdown against tournament favourites France on Tuesday, cameras panned to Yamal’s younger brother Keyne waving and smiling at the Barcelona star.

Yamal, 18, then looks up adoringly at the toddler, who realises he is on the big screen at SoFi Stadium and makes a series of funny facial expressions. 

His looks of utter disbelief and jubilation have gone viral on social media, with fans describing him as both cute and adorable.

Keyne already made a splash at this World Cup during Spain’s group stage victory over Australia after he was picked out in the crowd passionately cheering on his older brother.

Yamal’s family has followed Spain avidly throughout the World Cup as the reigning European Champions bid to earn a second star on their shirt.

Spain have only reached the World Cup final once, when they won it all in 2010, and must now surpass tournament favourites France to make the last two for a second time.

Keyne’s viral fame should come as no surprise, as bursting on to the scene at an early age is something the Yamals clearly have in common. 

Barcelona superstar Lamine burst through the ranks as a 15-year-old under Spain legend Xavi, becoming the youngest player in history to represent the club in LaLiga before establishing himself as a regular for both club and country within a year.
