
Andy Burnham has set out plans for a decentralised approach to government, including proposals for a ‘No10 North’ in Manchester.
He said it would be the ‘nerve centre’ for his ‘Manchesterism’ and pledged to move power and money to the North, East and Midlands.
However, Kemi Badenoch said Mr Burnham ‘doesn’t understand what he’s talking about’ and that he was trying to ‘bribe voters’ in the North.
