Disney Unveils Surprrise Short ‘Lilo & Scratch’ With Chris Sanders


Disney showed fresh footage for Hexed at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival on Friday and premiered a surprise theatrical short reprising the beloved 2002 character Stitch in animated form.

Entitled Lilo & Scratch, it stars Stitch alongside a new cat character intent on eating the former’s pet fish Pudge.

Chris Sanders, who voiced Stitch in the original 2002 animation, reprises his role in the short which will play theatrically alongside Hexed which is slated for a November 25 release.

Friday’s session also showcased fresh footage for Hexed, the tale of awkward teenager Billie and her strict single mom who discovers that she has unknown magical powers that will turn their lives upside down.

The session revealed first footage for a number of the early scenes in the film as Billie becomes aware of her magical powers and is then sucked into a wooded portal leading to the land of Hexe.
