Former Vice President Kamala Harris was among the VIPs who turned out to watch the USMNT’s final World Cup group stage game in California on Thursday night.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side took on Turkiye at the Los Angeles Stadium in their third match of the tournament, having already secured their place in the round of 32.
However, despite the fact the USMNT had little to play for in Inglewood, that didn’t stop a plethora of notable names from showing out for Thursday’s game.
Most notably, Harris was seen taking in the action alongside husband Doug Emhoff, who shared a photo on X of the couple smiling away during the game.
Emhoff captioned the post: ‘Goal!’ and posted it just moments after the USMNT had taken the lead through Aaron Trusty inside the first two minutes of the match.
Along with the former Vice President, Second Lady of the United States Usha Vance was also seen in the stands, as FOX cameras cut to her during the national anthem.

Vance, who is expecting her fourth child with Vice President JD Vance, made the outing just days after she fired back at the New York Times over their analysis of her maternity wardrobe.
Vance first announced her pregnancy in January, sharing with the world that they were expecting a baby boy with the couple already parents to sons, Ewan, eight, and Vivek, five, and a daughter, four-year-old Mirabel.
Similarly – spotted in the stands shortly afterwards – award-winning actor Brad Pitt was seen taking in the action alongside ‘Fight Club’ co-star Edward Norton.
The two appeared deep in conversation when FOX cameras cut to the acting duo.
Meanwhile, in another suite inside the stadium, actor Ashton Kutcher and NFL stars Puka Nacua and Ty Simpson were all seen taking in the action together.
The acting royalty didn’t stop there. The likes of Jessica Alba and Owen Wilson were also spotted inside the Los Angeles Stadium before the game began.
Alba was seen in a suite along with a cohort of her gal pals, taking selfies and soaking up the atmosphere, while Wilson was spotted down on the pitch earlier in the day.
Prior to the game kicking off, Paris Hilton continued her World Cup duties by presenting the match ball while sporting a custom jersey with her name on the back.
The iconic TV personality was later seen pitch side with her husband Carter Reum, son Phoenix and daughter London as the game got underway.

Elsewhere on the red carpet, a number of stars – from a range of industries – struck a pose for the cameras as they arrived for the game between the USA and Turkiye.
Most notably, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tyler Glasnow was seen in great spirits as he arrived at the Los Angeles Stadium – typically known as So-Fi Stadium.
Glasnow – who is currently sidelined with a back injury until August – opted for a casual outfit on the night with a plain white t-shirt, black trousers and white shoes.
Meanwhile, comedian Keegan-Michael Key showed his support for the national side as he struck a pose wearing their away jersey and pointing to the badge.
He also took a moment to share a picture with Mexican actor and singer Jaime Camil, who had an eccentric outfit on for the occasion.
UFC star Brian Ortega also struck a pose for the cameras, as he – quite fittingly – held up a fist while wearing the USMNT’s home strip on the day.
In the game itself, Pochettino’s side stormed into an early lead after Trusty smashed home a goal from close range after a corner inside the opening two minutes.
However, Turkiye – who had already been eliminated from the competition after a woeful start to the World Cup – equalized through Real Madrid star Arda Guler.
Turkiye then took the lead, ten minutes before the end of the first-half, after Orkun Kokcu put the finishing touches on a well-worked move.
However, after the restart, the USMNT fired back almost immediately when Sebastian Berhalter smashed home an effort following a corner.
