Carnival Cruise Line has banned 16 people after a massive fight broke out among passengers as they waited in a customs line in Florida.
Dramatic footage captured the moment a group of unruly individuals charged at each other at around 8am on Monday after the Carnival Conquest ship docked at Port Miami following a trip to the Bahamas.
Two unidentified women kicked off the brawl as one of them, dressed in a black strapless dress, ducked under a line divider and started swinging at a woman in polka dot pajamas.
Another woman, who donned a yellow and white maxi-dress, then jumped into the scuffle and grabbed on to the other’s hair.
The two of them went back and forth for minutes, tightly gripping each other’s hair as they tried to stay grounded with their bare feet on the floor.
Several men and women joined the melee as US Customs and Border Protection officers attempted to break up the mayhem.
Suitcases and personal belongings were thrown around during the chaotic scene.
At one point, a man was seen holding a stanchion over his head as people screamed.

After a couple of minutes the fight was broken up and people were seen trying to carry on with their day.
It remains unclear what sparked the fracas, but the violent disagreement was between two families, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office (MDSO) told the Daily Mail.
No one was arrested after neither of the parties decided to press charges against the other, cops said.
As a result of the brawl 16 people have been placed on Carnival Cruise Lines’ ‘Do Not Sail List’, a company spokesperson told the Daily Mail.
‘The incident occurred in the debarkation area under the authority of US Customs and Border Patrol [sic],’ the company said.
‘We are appreciative of law enforcement’s swift response and handling of the matter. We do not tolerate such behavior.’
Bystanders who witnessed the fight were heard in a video claiming that a kid was involved in the brawl, but that has not been confirmed.
According to Cruise Mapper the Carnival Conquest ship docked at 8am on Monday before setting sail again at 3pm later that day.

The Daily Mail contacted US Customs and Border Protection and Port Miami for comment.
The incident comes just months after two women got into a fight on another Carnival cruise ship.
Lisa Horace, 51, and Tonya Nelson, 58, are accused of slapping one another on board the Carnival Spirit as it returned to Mobile, Alabama, from Nassau, Bahamas in March.
Nelson had confronted Horace and her husband, stating that they were standing in the wrong line to settle their cruise accounts, according to court documents obtained by Fox 10.
Both women are facing federal court citations for simple assault and appeared before a judge in early May.
US magistrate Judge Bert Milling Jr told the women their case will be dismissed if they do not get arrested or have contact with one another for three months, according to Fox 10.
A final decision on that case is set to be made on August 12.
