Tottenham Hotspur are in advanced talks to sign goalkeeper Martin Dubravka – with a view to using him as back-up to Antonin Kinsky.
Former Newcastle and Manchester United goalkeeper Dubravka, 37, left Burnley this month after their relegation from the Premier League.
Guglielmo Vicario, who has been first choice since his arrival in 2023, is still expected to leave this summer, most likely to Juventus.
And it is understood the club may offer a contract extension to Kinsky, whose future at the club looked uncertain after he was substituted by caretaker boss Igor Tudor after just 16 minutes following a nightmare start to a Champions League tie at Atletico Madrid.
But the Czech Republic goalkeeper, who withdrew from the World Cup to have surgery, showed promise after earning his place back in the side during Spurs’ battle to avoid relegation.
Kinsky, 23, is also a more youthful option than 29-year-old Vicario, who has appeared shaky since arriving from Empoli in 2023.

New boss Roberto de Zerbi has made clear his intentions to improve Tottenham’s squad ahead of his second campaign, and also has his eyes set on Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali.
The north London club had an ambitious offer of £75million for the Italian turned down last week, but are expected to return with an improved bid.
Tonali is understood to be open to joining De Zerbi’s side, though a move to Premier League champions Arsenal may well be his preference. The Gunners are, however, yet to firm up their interest.
Manchester City are also monitoring developments should their £120m move for Elliot Anderson not come off.
So far this summer, Spurs have already added Brighton defender Jan Paul van Hecke to their ranks in a deal worth £52m. The Dutch international had one year left on his deal.
It’s thought Spurs also hold an interest in West Ham’s Mateus Fernandes, though Manchester United are frontrunners for his signature.
